Currently there's word that Ada's campaign will be cut and that the Mercenaries mode will be added post launch. There's also the pre-order/deluxe edition stuff to consider.

Most likely they'll put the game out and you'll be able to buy the deluxe edition items as a way to get them outside of it. Not sure if the mercenaries mode will be sold as DLC, I don't think so? It's all too early to say. Ada's campaign may be sold later as DLC, they could probably better refine it since it was a bit so-so in the original game.

The RE4 remake also feels, at least to me, like the most work they've put into one of their remakes thus far and have promised quite a bit for it, so I'm sure over time they might have something else to extend the longevity of it.. Or not! I've got no idea, just theories.
