What mods do people want to see?
I know this game will be heavily modded, I personally hope for a voice/sound mod to make it the OG sounds. I do like the new voice cast, And will enjoy a few play throughs with it, But like RE2 I also enjoyed having mods that changed the sounds and such back to the OG.

Replace all the zombie lines with "Grr the game doesn't run on my PC!" and "He has a pc that can run the game! Let's get him!".

Absolutely no need to randomize important gameplay mechanics, people who want to play in harder modes or do a no hit run, have to rely on.
I get it. Some people want to spawn with infinite rocket launchers because those are consistent in winning the game. The developers looked at the original. Seen people heavily relied on melee action commands, and asked themselves how to make a player be able to reliable do them, but also not guarantee doing them in 0.01 seconds so they are never in any real danger ever.

Getting reliable stagger on headshot is very important for higher difficulty modes and has absolutely nothing to do with "Some people want to spawn with infinite rocket launchers because those are consistent in winning the game" or "people heavily relied on melee action commands". In the harder modes the room for errors is very small. You absolutely need reliability and not randomized core mechanics ;)

Personal challenge runs are not a reasonable substitute for your game being balanced on vanilla.

The remake will not be balanced or challenging at all.
It will be super easy to play, just like RE8 and RE3 remake.

They didnt make those changes to make the game more difficult.
They made most of them out of lazyness.
They recycled the assets and textures of RE 8.
And they recycled the gameplay code of RE 2 remake, including getting out of an hold with a knifestab and breakable knifes.

Okay, I'll explain it too you more simply. Not all enemies take the same amount of bullets to kill in the original. Some actually have super high amounts of HP because they randomly spawn Las Plagas types A through C. HP can range from 100% to 400% in an instant because RNG. Inversely, some enemies die instantly in the original because headshot critical chance is RNG as well. These are both core mechanics btw. Headshot criticals less so, but even critical chances are programmed into the melee command prompts.

If you can explain to me why these core mechanics, especially las plagas spawns being mostly random, is a good thing. While staggering now having a constrained randomness (as in you eventually trigger a stagger no matter what after a certain threshold) is bad. I would love to hear that explanation.

The mad chainsaw mode was pretty hard. Probably less than 1% of the demo audience beat it (I know I barely did). So if we see even half of the incorporated elements of that mode into pro mode that would be cool.

A randomizer would be awesome and I'm excited for the graphics overhaul. game looks great, but I know that modders can make it even better. they always do.

Found the misandrist nothing new in 2023.

The post was satire. New declaration. Joking around is no longer legal on the Steam forums.

You seem like the type who is unable to adapt, and need a predictable, rigid, mathematical, black and white set of formulae as if you were are following a set of instructions rather than.. *playing a game*.. :conwayshrug:

I bet Jim in Outbreak or the other early RE games which had you landing random critical head popping crits on Zombies drove you insane?
Honestly it just sounds like you are complaining for the sake of complaining here, and I'm not really sure why.

Yeah, thats true.
I dont want to "adapt" to :

- online gambling
- replacing skill with luck based mechanics
- making movement less responsive to make it look more realistic
- cutting out content as preoder bonus, or to resell it as dlc
- grinding for basic items
- fomo based in game shops
- live service wastelands
- battlepasses
- NFTs

So I mostly buy indie games.
Most triple A games are unplayable by now.
Mhh.....if I think about the last decade we only had around 16 good AAA games in total:

- Sekiro
- BOTW
- Dark Souls 3
- Bloodborne
- Elden Ring
- Nioh 2
- Doom Eternal
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Metro Exodus
- Control
- Returnal
- RE 2 remake
- RE 7 (maybe)
- Shadow of the Colossus remake
- Ultra Street Fighter 4
- Titanfall 2
