of all sorts
randomize key items within general area
weapons throughout the whole game
enemies types and placements
let me shoot a spinel on the wall and have a chance to drop a rocket launcher
i don't care
Enjoy giving your pocket money kids and poor manchild
Getting reliable stagger on headshot is very important for higher difficulty modes and has absolutely nothing to do with "Some people want to spawn with infinite rocket launchers because those are consistent in winning the game" or "people heavily relied on melee action commands". In the harder modes the room for errors is very small. You absolutely need reliability and not randomized core mechanics ;)
The remake will not be balanced or challenging at all.
It will be super easy to play, just like RE8 and RE3 remake.
They didnt make those changes to make the game more difficult.
They made most of them out of lazyness.
They recycled the assets and textures of RE 8.
And they recycled the gameplay code of RE 2 remake, including getting out of an hold with a knifestab and breakable knifes.
If you can explain to me why these core mechanics, especially las plagas spawns being mostly random, is a good thing. While staggering now having a constrained randomness (as in you eventually trigger a stagger no matter what after a certain threshold) is bad. I would love to hear that explanation.
The mad chainsaw mode was pretty hard. Probably less than 1% of the demo audience beat it (I know I barely did). So if we see even half of the incorporated elements of that mode into pro mode that would be cool.
Found the misandrist nothing new in 2023.
I bet Jim in Outbreak or the other early RE games which had you landing random critical head popping crits on Zombies drove you insane?
Honestly it just sounds like you are complaining for the sake of complaining here, and I'm not really sure why.
Yeah, thats true.
I dont want to "adapt" to :
- online gambling
- replacing skill with luck based mechanics
- making movement less responsive to make it look more realistic
- cutting out content as preoder bonus, or to resell it as dlc
- grinding for basic items
- fomo based in game shops
- live service wastelands
- battlepasses
- NFTs
So I mostly buy indie games.
Most triple A games are unplayable by now.
Mhh.....if I think about the last decade we only had around 16 good AAA games in total:
- Sekiro
- BOTW
- Dark Souls 3
- Bloodborne
- Elden Ring
- Nioh 2
- Doom Eternal
- Super Mario Odyssey
- Metro Exodus
- Control
- Returnal
- RE 2 remake
- RE 7 (maybe)
- Shadow of the Colossus remake
- Ultra Street Fighter 4
- Titanfall 2
