Nah cutscenes are full 6dof as well :D At least all the cutscenes that were in the demo are. can't speak for other cutscenes in the full game yet though
Village is also available in PCVR, along with Re2,Re3 RE4R and Re7. The only tradeoff is the oled screen and the better interactions that the PSVR2 gives you. Also The PCVR version gets mods so there is that too.
This is what i plan. I'll beat it non-VR first to be comfortable with the game and enjoy the time spent on it. By then the mod will hopefully be fully finished with 1st person and any other tweaks/improvements and it can give me a good excuse to play through a second time feeling somewhat fresh and also ease in my VR experience due to prior playthrough.

I'm the opposite way, I like playing through games in VR first then casually playing through in flat mode afterwards to pick up some achievements that would be otherwise too difficult to get in VR. Like with Re3 I played it in VR first then did my inferno run flat along with my under 2 hours run

A resolution of only 5404 x 2736 is a small price to pay for full 360 immersion imo
I find a flat screen more immersion breaking than a couple pixels here and there.
Just pointing out that if you think frame interpolation is a bad thing then you've probably hated a lot of the technologies you've seen for TV, consoles, PC gaming, etc. for the past 20+ years. Its not that hip to hate on optimization tech as you might think. Further, I'm actually not clear on how their mention of resolution and supersampling even related to the subject of frame interpolation. Generally, DLSS 3 and such are not supported in VR for most titles last I checked (then again I use a 3070 so I haven't checked more recently anyways as I can't even use DLSS 3).
Also, while Freddie's posts are a bit over the top I'd recommend against throwing around claims that people are schizo or other similar issues. Its just not classy and is derogatory towards those who might actually struggle with any given mental health issue.
