That being said, I believe before a RE5 remake (depending on how they portail Wesker in this remake they could hint to a remake there), they would remake Code: Veronica first.
People seems eager to a Remake of RE Code Veronica and 5 so I believe they will go for that route eventually.
gonna be amazing !
The Dreamcast got a straight port from PC version.
Here is my PC playthrough.
S rank, no saves, no sprays, most enemies dodged.

No its not, OG3, OG1 and RE Zero are all worse in terms of classic OG gameplay. In fact the only one better is te OG RE2 and REmake (if it qualifies)
I really enjoyed it, one of my greatest memories from the dreamcast era alongside games like MSR, shenmue and GTA3 dropping on ps2... was a fantastic time to be alive playing games. resident evil 4 happens to be one of my least favourite games in the series, moving it well away from survival horror and into action, so different from all that came before it that it could have been names something else entirely and it would have worked, in fact thats exactly how early development went, they went so far from what was the core of resident evil they turned it into devil may cry and started over, so it kinda shocks me that RE4 gets the reception it does from OG resident evil fans, those complaining that CV was one of the worst ever made must not have been teenagers who experienced that on release, id bet you guys are 25 or less and were still on the boob when that game dropped, it had huge impact on release, resident evil fans loved it.
That but also fighting Alexia at the end is also one of the toughest boss battles.
Steve in his mutated form is truly freakishly scary if you do not get the run timing down, if you are injured before this boss you are doomed.
There is a huge square slab of concrete that will squash you into mince if you stay under it too long.
The game threw a lot of harsh reality at you which is what makes it stand out, but it also has one of the best atmospheres, characters and an amazingly well thought out story during it's duration, for RE it was incomprehensible how amazing it was at launch.

i sadly never had a dreamcast so it was playstation 2 for me
but the original version can i ask you, how does it compare to veronica x ?
Also Veronica marked the point at which the plot started to jump the shark with the inclusion of anime superpower Wesker amongst other things.
Zero is far and away the worst mainline game in the series but the fact that Veronica is probably one of the better spin offs is not a testament to quality when you`re facing off with dead aim and gaiden.
Game had the best the knife in the series though, that thing was lethal.
ALSO RE3 is the spin-off title due to SONY having an agreement to have 3 RE games, they made RE3, CV is the real 3rd sequel.
That wasn't an usual fact that was true facts. Now you know.
