Report a translation problem
If you die, your time doesn't reset unless you quit to the main menu when you die and manually load your last save. Pressing continue when you die will not reset your time. Again, quit to the main menu, then manually reload your last save.
You can check the run time by pressing ESC which pauses the timer.
The time passes as long the game is unpaused. Except in some special cases.
If you are using a typewriter, the time PAUSES. You can use this to sort your items without wasting time.
At the chapter end screen, the time PAUSES.
During any cinematic, the time PAUSES. But note that during COMMS the time CONTINUES, skip them as fast as possible.
If you die in any moment and click Continue or Load save, the time keeps going on. If you wish to return to the time that was when you saved, you have to press Quit and load from main menu.
Accessing inventory, docs, treasures and map, the time keeps ticking.
During merchant interactions the time passes as normal.
During the shooting range the time counts too.
These are the main observations that i can share with you from my experience.
