Why Leon is so slow

He moved like he would have broken leg, my 60+ years old grandpa could run faster than him, like seriously, the game itself is pretty cool but movement is pretty uncomfortable and made me die like 2 times

On my first run, my first charm was the 8% movement speed increase.

Then, trying to get S+ on professional, it's even more noticeable how slow his standard speed is.

I do think that if he were much faster then the game would be even more trivial though.

Sucks ass that you cannot stack them..I have 3 striker charms. Imagine being 24% faster, you could actually outrun everything

If he moved faster the game would be easier and that would ruin the game. That's it. Literally the only reason for it. It's supposed to feel like a game where you are never the boss of the situation, and winning feels like you just barely managed to get past the enemies. Most enemies use melee attacks and running fast would just make them feel extremely weak and sluggish. Please use the brain you got before posting these threads, I beg of you.

Yeah his walk speed could've been better. His run speed is fine though.

Unless you're speedrunning, it's not really worth worrying about. In combat you're generally either running or shooting anyway.

I would move very quickly if I was carrying a magical bag of holding that appeared to be the size of a suite case, could hold a full sized rocket launcher, a massive bass, a ton of other junk, then fit in my pocket with nary a bulge.

He doesn't have unlimited stamina, he has to slow down so he doesn't tire out when fighting enemies.
