Definitely would recommend checking out the other games they've been doing lately, Resident Evil Village is very close to RE4, it's a homage to it with its setting and ideas, but in general, I'd say go back to Resident Evil 7 and just play the games as they released from there. You'll have a good time.
It would of been nice to keep the treasure focused keys so you wouldn't have to back track nearly as much on a 2nd play through.

it IS simple but for those who have never played old tank control games it's a huge inconvenience to get used to, plus they're having a hard time with fixed camera angles that purposefully hide certain enemies from you
Yeah, I'm just playing them in order and already played 0 -3 before. I liked them all to a certain degree although I prefer the newer remakes over 0 and 1.
I'm glad I finally gave the series a chance since I didnt expect to enjoy it that much :)
Besides the point, I mean the major keys just as much. The ones that require back tracking.
You definitely got your money's worth in the original. But it was so darn long I was praying for the end
2023 started sweet.
And if you mean you missed out in the original RE4 for 18 years, then you're still missing out on it, it's distinctive from this game and was not replaced by the remake.
