they really want to teach you to speedrun this
this is one of the most speedrun centric game i came across
Your time: 5.5 hours for Professional S+ means you are supposed to be:
- entering the castle area about 2 hours in
- entering the island area about 4-4.5 hours in
- and then do the island in 1-1.5 hours remaining
2 hours and 30 minutes by chapter 10 (after Ashley segment) is fine - you still have 1.5 hours for the remaining 2 chapters of the castle. Obviously, since you didn't have to do side quests in the village that made things that much easier for you. So you're good.
10 saves looks good enough to me as well. Maybe a bit more that you should have by now - but you can compensate by less frequent saving during the island segment. That one isn't hard anyway.
Handcannon takes some time adjusting to. You likely noticed that if you aim long enough you can ever score precise shots on the enemies at long range, like crossbowmen. Point blank however you shouldn't have problems hitting, regardless of the enemy.
I did not catch anything about your previous runs/accessories you have right now, but I would recommend doing Hardcore S+ for Chicken Hat so that you die a little slower than otherwise - some of the enemies are obnoxious.
You discredit people who used mods or trainers but you paid for something that does the same.
I find that hilarious.
Also 10 saves are not good, you shouldn't save before the del lago encounter if you want an optimal way of doing it.
I mean you have more saves than chapter completion, you will have to cut corners.
Oh, I hard disagree with this. Del Lago fight can be bs with trees getting in your face, not to mention it can randomly bug out and fail to load chapter 3 for you, forcing you to replay the whole thing.
I haven't managed to lose to del lago yet, but even if you do, you lose what? 35 minutes of progress? It's pointless to save before that, what for anyway?
