Mercs. Krauser sucks?

Anyone else feel like Krauser is just the worst character in mercs? I was excited for how they would do his dual-wield plaga arms, but they just dont do well. A worse Luis in a way.

I think hes actually quite strong, his knife attacks are really good, being able to melee enemies easily, essentially making him a viable melee character.

And his mutated form will decimate enemies, with his charge instantly killing anything, and using the combos for nearby enemies will easily kill them.

I think Luis is actually on the weaker side due to his weapons being pretty limiting, he doesnt have good crowd control outside of his Dynamite, unlike Leon who has a Shotgun, Krauser with the TMP and his Bow, or Hunk with his SMG.

Anyway, i think Krauser has good crowd control, his mutated attacks have decent range and will kill anything nearby.

Well, i like him because he has sick knife attacks that help keep the combo going and is almost immortal while attacking, also his bow is strong.
But yeah, in comparison with the other 3, i believe that he is the weakest.

His melee is high damage and it ignores all forms of grab and stun. Stinger will guarantee kill any boss it comes in contact even against armored enemies where the backside is the only weakspot you can delete them just by touching them.

You can just stand in melee playing as him and come out on top, his range selection is pretty bad but thats to compensate for how broken is is in melee. You can easily stunlock most enemies playing as him.

Casually got him 1.4 mil playing him for the first time on village. Didn't even bother to shoot anything.

It seems you're supposed to play him by just spamming the knife and rack up the bonus time. He seemed kinda boring to me but different strokes for different folks i guess.

Yeah i agree but thats because i always knife the guys holding dynamite and die, if i dont do that i get 1,5mil score though, but if you can avoid that i think Leon is the worst.

i found that by getting in a position that protect your blind spot and just going to town with the knife can easily rack up s rank on all maps, literally almost no effort of playing, yo could probably watch youtue while scoring an S with him this way, so id say he op, unless you want sweet and fast time highscores

Yeah he probably has the worse mayhem ability. Hes great outside of that though.

Yea, so does HUNK with his neckbreaker, and luis with his dynamite, and leon with his mayhem shotgun (Most of em). I guess compared to 'story' mode leon, he's strong. but compared to every other merc character; hes the black sheep.

Hoping they add Wesker at some point.

Krauser is ludicrously strong but my main problem with him is that if you're aiming for a high score then you don't get a great score multiplier from him.

For example, Hunk and Lean get 2000 points per bullet on bosses during mayhem which racks up your score but Krauser is lucky to hit four people with his arms.

yeah hes kinda bad. Its hard for me to get s+ with him cuz of how many times the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gets staggered. He looks like a really strong guy but in combat hes weak.

hes a great character once you get his movement gimmick down, by far the funnest mercs character, rack up points easily by spamming the mayhem mode combo while surronded
