Capcom didn't make it clear how NG+ is activated. So I assumed starting another game was fine. Nope. Apparently you need to hit 'continue' after beating it. I figured it would just go to the last save before the final battle. No. It doesn't. So now I'm starting from scratch. Good thing is I can work harder at the side stuff and get more upgrades at least. But for those who want to get into NG+ DO NOT start a new game after finishing. Go with continue.

It literally explains how it works to you when you do the completed game save and having the game save a savefile after beating it that you load to start an ng+ is also not that uncommon in games

Nah won't need it. I'm annoyed but this game is amazing. Still need all my concentration for aiming though.
