Hunk is the best in mercenaries.

Mathyem can activate infinite ammo of LE5.That's amazing, we don't need any extra weapons. Only one smg is good enough with lot of ammo. Expect Leon, Hunk is the best. Krauser and Luis are ok. Krauser is hard to play.

Krauser is the most fun to play imo

Love his knife animations, can't wait to mess with it and port it to story mode somehow.
For me I prefer Leon or Hunk. Hunk is stronger than Krauser.

Krauser literally has more health, is faster, and can mutate. He's basically pre-wesker

Out of curiosity, how much, if any, of Hunk situations are actually considered canon to the RE Universe? Is he just suppose to be a fun side character added to the game, since he mostly seems to be used for bonus content. You never see him in the main games when you play through. Only one that comes to mind is Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City, but that's a spin off game.

There are a couple files written by HUNK in Code Veronica. They confirm that he exists outside of bonus content. I think the basic idea of 4th Survivor is considered canon in that HUNK was part of the team that tried to steal the G-Virus and was the only survivor when it all went to ♥♥♥♥. I don't remember him being mentioned in any other mainline games.

HUNK was basically Umbrella's best soldier, so he was probably able to become some sort of elite mercenary after Umbrella broke up. It could be interesting to see him pop up as an independent contractor one day.

To be more specific, he was mentioned in a file in Resident Evil: Code Veronica where he was assigned to deliver an Umbrella container with a B.O.W capsule from Antarctica to Rockfort Island.

He's also extremely boring and easy to play. The only balanced and fun to play character I would say is Leon in the mercenaries. I was really hyped for Hunk, I played him once, aced a stage with him and haven't touched him more.
