So is Separate Ways going to be paid DLC?

Pretty much the title as this was included in the old game but since Wesker and Ada are missing in Mercenaries mode will the be pay walled too?

It was paid extra content for the original version. You had to buy a PS2 and a new copy of the game

Reusing assets is like mostly fine IMO, but how you do it will be key (like, we know Ada will visit a lot of areas Leon has been or "will be" in, so not to reuse those would be bizarre to say the least).

I don't like in RE games sections like the Beneviento doll house baby chase in RE8, or the orphanage stealth section in RE2, or the Ashley section in RE4, they are weak in terms of gameplay and replayability, they are gimmick sections that might help to add a tiny bit of variety in the middle of the game so that the classic gameplay loop doesn't get too stale, but on their own they just don't hold a candle to the real reason I play RE games, and man that Shadows of Rose DLC seemed to be 80% gimmick with 20% classic gameplay (I'm exaggerating, but still, it was skewed heavily into trying to do something else but also just in a half-baked fashion).

completely agree. never liked those sections like ashley's chapter...they ruin replayability...even in the original i hated that part....they really don't add anything to the gameplay

Someone already leaked a mod where you can play as Ada with her full animations from mercs a week ago on nexus. I played with this mod on one of my professional runs and it was a lot of fun.

All the other Voice actors nailed their role down perfectly specially luis. André Peña did a awesome job and out shined the rest I think.

Please, please no more Lily Gao's Ada.

Hopefully Ada Wong will be RECAST, and this really should happen if the DLC is paid.

They are probably going to be included in seperate ways and seperate ways is going to be paid, perhaps it will even have separate mercenaries menu.

No it didn't. It was not in the Gamecube release of the game. It was an add on to the PS2 port.

Assignment Ada is not Separate Ways.
Assignment Ada was indeed included in the GC releace.

You can bet your bottom dollar that they will be. Why else do you think they cut them out. Capcom can make tons of money out of you people just by making the same games and content over and over again.

They were "cut" from the release because they were working on separate ways and the main game at the same time.
