Bloom and Water Reflections Glitches. Any Settings Recommendations?
Played through the entire game at nearly 120 fps the first time without a single hiccup. Now that I'm replaying in hardcore I'm getting these 3 annoying glitches. I don't think it's an issue with the game (or you'll tell me otherwise), so I won't bug Capcom just yet. I'm thinking I simply changed a setting or two my GPU didn't quite like. Here's a video depicting all three issues:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpMNuIIgNak

My specs:

Windows 11
CPU Intel i7 12650 12th Gen.
GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Laptop.
RAM 16 Gb DDR5

I also don't know if it matters, but I uninstalled the game after my first playthrough (low SSD capacity for now), then reinstalled it cuz I missed it more than I thought I would and Mercs was gonna drop. The glitches only appeared after the reinstall and before Mercs.

Oh, I'm not sure but I think I saw someone else have a similar issue the other day on this forum. The screenshot they posted look like the last glitch in the video. I think they solved it but I can't recall how right now. It was a common cause though, I believe. Temperature or driver issue maybe. A BIOS update?

I'm pretty sure everything's up to date, and I use a cooling pad, so I don't think it's either of those (not to mention I didn't even had the pad back when I played the first time). I appreciate the heads up though, I'll see if I can find that comment you mentioned.

you have a link to the fix? It happens to me when I turn on Lens flares and tessellation. randomly it will still pop up on a wall if its covered in vines or something rarely.

This also happens to me

Same happening here. Tho it wasn't happening before the update

Sounds like this is a thing and not something we can just fix fiddling with the settings. I'll post it in Capcom's bug thread.

Update. Restarted the game and it just went away lol
FlufflePuss Apr 7, 2023 @ 4:43pm
It went away for me as well for one session, it came back right after.

Hmm, crap. I did turn on Ray tracing on normal to see if doesn't crash now.

I have discovered a likely culprit

I think I discover the solution for that, just turn off the MFAA in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

But for me, when I turn* off this option some textures are now blurry and strange.

If I discover a fix I'll post it here

Another thing I was testing and may work is turn on the FXAA in the NVIDIA Control Panel (Again),

Probaly a lot of the visual problems the game have is because of driver config, but I gonna be testing another stuff to see the best config
It's a drastic solution and maybe not a definitive one: I uninstalled the game and deleted its folder from steam, then I installed it again and none of the glitches have returned for a couple of days (I had the same ones as you)
