Nothing to unlock with mercenaries?

So, am I missing something or is there nothing to unlock with mercenaries except of the 3 maps and 4 characters for the mode itself. But no bonus weapons or costumes or anything to be used anywhere in the game?

Censored vr release had more than that btw. It took them more time to add mercs, but still.

Yeah I'd rather have had them wait another week or so to release Mercenaries with outfits and accessories you could unlock by getting S++. A Don Quixote set of costumes. Hunk's costume etc. Even if they don't mods will come out and rectify most of what they don't release.

S on every map, with any character

S rank on all stages with 1 character is all you need.
