Mercenaries with Family Sharing?
I am playing from a friends shared library and it seems that because of this I can't play the mercenaries mode. If I go to 'Download' on the store page it just boots the game as normal and I can't add the DLC to library because I don't own the game.

Anybody know a way around this?

Edit: CAPCOM UPDATED THE GAME AND BROKE THIS MOD!

And I was right, I contacted a modder from Nexus Mods, his nickname is aitsdavid. He sent me an archive that fixed the issue and now I can play it with no problems.

Just put it on the main game folder and rename it to "re_chunk_000.pak.patch_002".

https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/10/3658515990043882773/ check this, it already its a problem for other games too. It's kinda ♥♥♥♥♥♥ that valve didn't give a solution to this yet in 4 years or more

What if the person you're sharing RE4 from gets the DLC does that mean you can share it? So ask them to share it. Or does it definitely not work like that?
