How do you know he isn't in the game? The mode isn't even out yet, and a lot of the time these extra modes have unlockables.

there are livestreams on playstation consoles already and there are only Leon, Krauser, Luis, and hunk. there is no Wesker or Ada

it would be more logical to give them out for free since they were given out for free in the old version of resident evil 4

both ada and wesker were unlocked by reaching a certain rank on certain levels in mercenaries in the original game. but from what i seen in the streams, they are most likely saving ada and wesker for the upcoming ada dlc. i mean..... capcom saves adding hyped playable characters for paid dlc....... looking at you devil may cry

Right, but have those people beat all the levels at a certain rank with one or more characters to confirm there is or is not anything to unlock? That is what I meant about it having unlockables - which many of these extra modes do historically

The real insanity is keeping both of them behind a DLC wall. I could understand maybe taking Ada out and maybe like waiting to release her for her DLC but her and Wesker? The 2 most popular characters for this mode? Wesker is a RE4/RE5 mercenaries legend tier character. I remember seeing user polls on a few youtube channels and Wesker and Ada were both number 1&2.

Only Leon is playable at the start you then unlock Luis, Krauser and finally HUNK. Ada and Wesker are to be added at a later date, presumably along side Separate Ways.

If you watched any of the videos you would have seen that Krauser and Hunk were the unlockables. Now it wouldn't make much sense to have 4 slots 2 grayed out characters until you unlock them then 2 more characters you need to unlock when there were only 4 slots on the screen. I wouldn't put it past them but then online leakers started saying "no ada no wesker until separate ways DLC comes out" which they then later said will probably come out at the end of the year.
