Not sure where that paedophile claim came from though.
Anyway, a lot of people just like the fun, dumb schlock horror of things like this. You’re not supposed to take it too seriously.
Perhaps it's an innocent practice, but to me it's definitely disturbing and far from attractive.
"I need to project myself to enjoy things reeeee" Cool. We don't. Move on.
That may be true, but you can't say this is there in the RE4 Remake. I assumed you were talking about the game since this is the discussion board for the game.
As to why people enjoy campines of the game? Because every major game today tries too hard to be super serious and tackle "important" themes, while also having gracefullnes of mid seisure epileptic. Having silly game with cheesy villains and heroes is simply refreshing.
Level design - it's varied, with different locations leading to interesting and fun places to fight in and walk through, and exploration is rewarded by treasures and narrative text.
Combat - challenging and fun with variety and a degree of tactics that can be quite rewarding. This is thanks to a selection of different weapons that have different strengths and weaknesses, as well as different ways to approach combat. Very few clear 'superior' options mean that people are free to find a load out and playstyle that they enjoy.
Visuals - fantastic art design, and graphical quality makes each new boss, enemy type, location and cutscene an enjoyable discovery. The atmosphere theyve created is also quite effective and enjoyable.
Story serves mainly to tie all these things together but thanks to the cutscenes and the discoverable flavor text it does atleast make it fun to uncover the history of the place and the occuring events.
Yes it's over the top in both Story and characters but.. I mean zombies and mutants and biological experiments, ancient cults and deadly mind control parasites.. anything less than embracing the silliness would only serve to make everything laughable anyway. It's like superhero movies.. embrace the absurdity or you'll just end up with an unsatisfying joke that comes across as cheesy and sad.
And characters don't need to be identifiable with in any way I think... just consistant with the world they inhabit. And these ones surely are :D
look at the earlier minecraft version where there was no bosses or story or whatever
look at other popular games not all of them are story heavy or even have a story
There are so many video games with so many different looking characters I don't even understand how one could question what they look like in any game really.
But the weirdest part of your past is the pedo comment, it's almost like you're projecting. It's the president's daughter, she's a kid, the fact that makes you think of "pedo wet dream" is very odd on your behalf.
