Riot Gun IMO is the best no question. It can decap at ludicrous ranges.

I like the Striker better as I don't see the need to use it on bosses at a distance. That is what a magnum is for.

Thats fair, I mainly use shotguns and rifles at range, i dont think magnums are worth in this game

I feel Riot Gun is far superior to both, though the first shotgun isn't horrible but the Riot Gun does everything so well it doesn't really leave much room for the first shotgun. The Striker is simply bad. In fact, I'd dare to call the Striker the worst gun in the game by a rather large margin, even compared to the Red 9's issues. The Striker you will find if you test it suffers from rather extreme accuracy issues even if they're in the center of your crosshairs and at fairly close range and it has an absolute range limit before it just wont hit no matter what. Oddly, it appears to have superior accuracy at the edges just outside its large reticle than in the center I found testing it in the firing range trials... which is absurd. As for bosses its dmg is inferior and for mob control its unrelaible while the Riot Gun is amazing at it but the 1st and 2nd Rifle is honestly better than both if you learn to line them up a bit (esp headshots, but even body are solid).

If you want to shoot accurately you use a rifle more then a shotgun.

I guess that depends on what kind of run you are doing. If it is a new game or new game + run where extra money doesn't matter.

Well the accuracy of the riot gun allows you to consistently decap ganados. I think straight deleting an enemy is more valuable than knocking them over.
