One of my annoyance of this game is Leon and Ashley feel so slow when running. You are being chase by crazies parasitic monsters and you are doing a slow morning jog. I mean I swear I know speedwalkers that go faster than Leon and Ashley are going.

I do wish there will be a mod that slightly improves the speed of the running. I just find it annoying that when I want Leon or Ashley to haul butt, I have to watch them think about running. I mean even the cutscenes show them going faster than they do ingame.

There is and it's called "Striker Charm". It increases run speed and does EXACTLY what you say.

striker charm doesn't make that much of a difference as far as i see.

if you are out of combat, you will return to "sprint" speed.

i completely agree they should have increased combat run speed by 20-30%

The worst offender is the last escape section. There isnt even combat and yet the game forces you into slug mode.

The worst offender for me isn't Leon's running speed in this but Ethan's running speed in RE7. Not that it's not slow here, but it could've been worse..
