Hm, would be sick, but what would his ability be? I guess something like a weapon upgrade every half a minute / minute or so would be cool?

He can't fight anymore. He has back problems, strangah'. Only thing he can do now is teleport to conveniently safe locations.

imagine, an absolutely massive case, fully stocked with almost every weapon, RPG included. New voice lines, some referencing Leon, along with some slick comments as he mows down enemies. His ability can be a randomized weapon with infinite ammo for a duration of time, could be a pistol one instance, or the RPG the next instance. OR, his ability could be that for a period of time, enemies completely ignore him, leaving him free to slay comfortably without a scratch, or even get out of a messy situation.

Could be a dream that may never come true, but I've always loved the merchant and told myself so many times " MAN! There's a horde of enemies trying to kill me over there and I'm your #1 customer, can I get a hand?! " LOL!!

Would be so cool to finally get to play in his shoes, I wouldn't even mind him being the very last character you could possibly unlock so he can be as OP as possible :)

That would be so sick, imagine him being able to call in the chopper as his ability?! A nice 30 second window to destroy absolutely everything in sight
