Why would they have trouble killing him on a NG+ run? You get max powered weapons from the start which trivializes the entire village segment.
All of the difficulties are balanced around you having a fresh start.
I'm used to always killing him on OG NG pro runs. Those rewards for killing them helped. The reward you get in this version from killing just that one is not nearly as impactful.
Note you can knife him after headshotting him enough to stun, you don't need a flashbang to do it. Though the timing will be shorter...

Doesnt that get you killed? And even if you do survive the cutscene doesn't hurt him. This is a joke? lol
The developers of Sekiro are somehow involved in the development of this remake, because the chainsaw can now be parried with a knife.
