Does nobody miss PRL 412?
I mean, it would've been a fun unlockable weapon for some insane challenge, like completing a Pro run in one sitting with no saves at all.

Now that you mention it I think it did create multiple beams towards all enemies, but the beams could be created only inside a pretty narrow arc in front of you.

Iirc holding it a little bit and releasing it made one beam, and holding it until you hear a cling sound would supercharge it and make multiple beams.

Argh now want to plug my ps2 again to check it.
I linked a video above which showcases it. Only one beam on PS2 with full charge.
I can't check the video but I am pretty sure the multiple beams were also on PS2. I was using the PAL version mind you.

I don't have a PS2 but I spent countless hours in the original PC version, that was based on PS2 and there was no extra beams, only one.

It's been around 15 years but I can recall it shooting multiple beams when supercharged, for some reason. But I'd very possibly be wrong about it.

No they improved the prl in the wii version, ps3, 4, xbox versions... In original pc port and ps2 version prl was very slow and only fired 1 beam. It became the best weapon in the later versions

Maybe it'll return when the Seperate Ways DLC drops...

I really hope they'll add it in a DLC. maybe Separate Ways unlockable? I doubt it though.

Separate Ways DLC 100% going to make it unlock PRL no way it doesn't show up - think about it every other OG unlockable gun has showed up including the extra costumes with exception of RPD and Pop Star

I dont miss it. Never liked it tbh. I used it exactly one time. Seeing how it deletes the whole village left me with a big " sigh " and never used it again.

Just not a fan of such super OP weapons. Same reason why I never use the infinite rpg.

Same. NG+ also bores me because of upgraded weapons and the extra cash and spinels you got from the previous playthrough.
