well if I put 4 gb with all the rest maxed out , including rt, i reach 10 and something of vram and I experience crashes... I set it at 2 gb now and will check. I could keep 4gb but then I would need to turn something else lower. I just asked because in all the optimization guides I found they all reccomend to set it to 1 gb because apparently it does not affect the visuals
not sure , it looked fine at 1 gb. but for now i set at 2gb and see how it runs. consider that i have all on maximum even shadow and RT, and i play 4k
Oh sorry i must have missed that part.
6GB should be recommended setting for you without RT. with RT i recommend 4GB.
if i set 4gb, the vram still gets in the red because i would use a total of 10 and something and the game alerts me about issues.. for now I set it at 2gb with rt and all the rest maxed and i play at around 80 fps stable in 4k
High 1GB looks kind of blurry and texture will pop up on screen.
High 4GB Looks sharp and textures pop-in isn't visible.
High 6GB adds more colour precision. Textures looks much better, much sharp.
High 8GB is the highest quality which further improves textures but the difference is minute.
I played on 12GB VRAM, with RT High and Textures at High 6GB @ 4K @ DLSS Quality.
Setting High 8GB would crash the game with RT ON. SO, you need 16GB VRAM to play at HIGH 8GB Textures with RT On @ 4K.
thank you for the answer, dlss quality? what do you mean, there's no dlss unless you mod it
