Professional S+ Rank CRASHING AT CREDITS

I have beat Professional S+ Rank TWICE now but it never gets recorded because it keeps crashing at the CREDITS. This is so infuriating as it's wasting even more of my time and effort. I have verified game integrity, and nothing helps. This is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stupid. Has anyone else had this issue?

UPDATE: After my third frustrating complete - Hunnigan's scene played for about 2 seconds then crashed again. After relaunching, it awarded me the Cat Ears and it made me a save file, overwriting the first save slot.

Wow that sounds absolutely awful.... I never had that issue on any of my runs. I wonder what is causing it.

No, I haven't experienced this, and it sounds terrible.

Are you able to skip the credit sequence, or does it crash instantly upon escaping the island in the jet ski?

The first time I beat it I skipped the credits, the second time I watched the whole way through (thinking that was why it crashed) and once it got to the scene with Hunnigan it freezes and opens up the RE4 crash report.

To update though, after my third frustrating complete - Hunnigan's scene played for about 2 seconds then crashed again. After relaunching it awarded me the Cat Ears and it looks like it made a save file for me at the first save slot.

No idea what is going on here, but hope no one else has to deal with this!

Fortunately, you can just load up from prior save so you aren't redoing entire game but that is definitely odd. Try REBOOTING PC if Win10/11 (or better yet turn off fast startup, power off PC, unplug and hold power button for 10+s and if Win7 do this instead of rebooting). Also verify integrity of files for the game in Steam. Hopefully one of these helps. If not make sure Windows and drivers are up to date though its a long shot at that point.

EDIT: Nvm seems you posted when I came back to finish my post. Glad you got it working but try that advice if you see anymore issues though fingers crossed you don't.
