Save file transfer

How do I transfer my save file to a friend? I tried looking up the save route but it's really complicated. Is there a simple way to do it or can I just log into my account and we can continue from my save? I'd rather just transferring the file itself though. Any help will be appreciated.

Just zip this folder up here C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\<userid>\2050650\remote\win64_save and send it to him. He'll unzip it, and then cloud sync is going to complain or something and you either overwrite it or disable cloud sync for a bit.

Logging onto his computer with your account should work too though if you have cloud sync.

you dont send your savefile name saveslot only you must be send your savedata name data-1 too

hey, did it work for you? the save files can't be read when i copy them in the folder, they seems to be exclusive to the account

I just logged in from my account. Couldn't be bothered to try and learn how this works. Unfortunately I think this was intentional.
