Ramon Salazar's Hat

Okay, now that I've finished the game (which was excellent btw), I have to get it off my chest... I'm okay with all of the character redesigns/updates except for Ramon (and Ada, but I think her character model is fine). Luis and Saddler took some time, but they grew on me. I really think they missed the mark with Ramon.

What irks me in particular is that on the little Ramon statues you can shoot, and on the Ramon flamethrower statue, he is wearing his hat. So, why isn't his actual character model wearing his hat? It gives the implication that he wore it in the past and doesn't anymore, which is neat; but, it would be nice if it was an unlockable accessory for him or something. I'd rather he wear it, it gave him a distinct look.

If you've played classic RE4, how did you feel about Ramon's new design? I'm curious.

I like the new design, they really managed to make him look gross, with how sickly he looks, while having him try to keep his elegant appearance with makeup and his aristocratic haircut and clothes.

I'm not a fan of the new design, but I don't care that much as I never liked the character old or new.

I think the statues are just a nod to the original and there isn't any real lore reason why they are like that.

There's a mod that gives him his hat if you want.

I like both designs. The new one is very different, yet you know he's Salazar. He's somehow much more gross. On the other hand, I like how the little statues resemble the OG Salazar.
