I can't trust the listed reqs on the store page
I don't think GTX 1050 Ti can run this game well.
It's more demanding than RE Village.
Edit:
I used to have a GTX 1050 Ti and my experience with RE Village are good but not that smooth as i prefered 60FPS but the GPU simply can't do that.
Now i got AMD RX 6600 and can render RE Village high settings 1080p about 125FPS max.
Now i played RE4R demo, the game only gave me about 85 FPS tops.
That's why i think RE4R are more demanding than Village.

they need to sell, that's why.
and then you feed all the unsatisfied with tomorrows.
i hope i'm wrong.

in any case, 30 fps is doable using 1050 Ti, and even 60+ on lowest possible settings, with stutters. but sadly, a generic VRR display can't work well with such a low framerate.

Time to upgrade. Buy a used GPU if you don't want to overpay.
Make sure your PSU is enough as well.

Used ones have a twist inside these days, that's a problem.

I used to have a GTX 1050 Ti, but it was struggling even to play RE Village above 30FPS in interlaced rendering method.
Now i have a RX 6600, it was good enough to run RE Village all high settings normal rendering up to 125FPS, but in RE4 Remake, it only manages to get a maximum of 85 FPS.
I think RE4R are more demanding than Village.

They say performance mode 1080p/45 fps,i barely hit 45 fps using my GTX 1660
thats exact GPU i have and i ran the demo fine.

Can you specify your specs, what is your settings, and how many FPS you got?

That's it, the game a bit heavier than past RE Engine's RE

Sure.
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 2600 Six-Core Processor
RAM: 16GB
GPU: Nvidia 1050TI 12GB memory

my settings were just turning unneeded things off like "hair strands" but keeping things like enviormental destruction, ragdolls and "many corpses".

my FPS stuck around 30+, was very smooth experience. and letting the settings remain default by what it detected i guess, which on the reccomended page was "proritize performance" i suppose.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bgYzp1cjVYY here's 1 miniute of me playing during the village fight i took with steel series on demo release. even if it does dip below 30, i never noticed and it was satisfying for me.

I think GTX 1050 Ti doesn't have a VRAM more than 4GB, how can yours have 12GB of VRAM?
Alright gonna watch your video.

Oh i see, maybe it's dedicated vram plus shared vram from your ram.
Okay okay, but the game indeed runs fine on your PC, so capcom aren't lying about the reqs.

I played this demo and i rarely got over 60fps. Almost the whole time i was around 60-64fps, except in confined locations, which i could reach 80-110fps. The last part of the demo i usually got around 55fps when a lot of enemies showed up, but i could still reach 60fps, but not the whole time. Turning off hair strands helped a lot but yeah, this game is very demanding on my laptop (RTX 2060). There are random FPS drops that occur from time to time with no reason whatsoever, but I've noticed that they're not related to hardware limitations because they simply go away if you either access the map (seriously) or if you lower some settings and then raise them again, and these drops happened in spots where it ran fine before (i played the demo multiple times but using the same settings every time).

Capcom themselves said that they're aware of these framerate drops in the demo and that they'll fix it. You can read this on their pinned thread here, however they said that this was only happening with Intel Arc users... which is not true

The game is more demanding, that is true, but i think it could be running better. Maybe the demo is an old build...? Who knows. Either way, i pre ordered the game and I'll be playing it when it releases (though later than y'all because I'll probably get the key after the game's launch)

Also, i have no idea why they never put DLSS in these RE games. FSR 2 helps a lot but I'd rather use DLSS

fsr works everywhere, including the req 1050Ti, that's why.
