I will try this asap thanks a lot.

Tried it on 1440p with 3.1.1 sdk. It works, went up to 100+ fps from 60 - 65 in open areas. Minimum 90 on village fight. It has some weird ghosting and looks oversharpened even with sharpness option turned off. Have not tried the Lod Bias edit yet.

Second edit: I also tried it with 2.5.1 and LOD fix but something still looks off. I believe the game has some sharpening filter you cannot disable. If anyone got a solution I will be so glad.

Dude, tysm.

I've tested it as expected DLSS is far superior to the trash FSR 2 implementation in this game, no horrible shimmering any more, 4K DLSS quality mode looks just as good as 4K native TAA while increasing fps by 50%

Did you do this:

LOD Bias

All Resident Evil with this mod suffers some mipmap issues if you're using DLSS/FSR2/XeSS from Quality to Ultra Performance except for DLAA because DLAA is already at native resolution. There's a way to make it look correct with nvidiaProfileInspector. I don't if AMD or Intel have a software similar to NvidiaInspector so let me know if you do know of one.

Using NvidiaProfileInspector, set Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling to 0x00000008 AA_MODE_REPLAY_MODE_ALL

Texture Filtering - LOD Bias (DX)

DLAA - Do not have to use Nvidiainspector, leave it default

DLSS/FSR2/XeSS

Quality: -0.5000

Balance: -1.0000

Performance: -1.5000

Ultra Performance: -2.0000

Lod Bias not modified yet, already looks good enough in 4K DLSS quality, Anti-aliasing is also better than TAA implementation.

It definitely makes a difference.

Yeah but I am using 4K DLSS quality mode, -0.5 Lod Bias not make a big difference, you may need to modify it in DLSS performance mode, and better to use DLSSTweaks mod to modify DLSSPresets also, in-game default DLSS preset is D, chang it to C or F preset to avoid some DLSS ghosting issue.

Also using quality, and it still looks better with it tweaked.

I cant get "TemporalUpscaler" appear in the REFramework, what I'm doing wrong?

make sure to extract the file from nexus mods into the game folder as it is. As a folder I mean. Also make sure you get the dlss file from techpowerup and put it into the game folder.

It was just old REFramework version that I had.

Still not using any if you can afford FPS wise is best.

Since I made that guide some people don't notice the difference. When you lower the quality preset, you can definitely tell the difference.

DLSS Performance vs DLSS Peformance w/ LOD Bias -1.5 https://imgur.com/HR7Jia5

DLSS Ultra Performance vs DLSS Ultra Peformance w/ LOD Bias -2.0 https://imgur.com/DR1wOMF

I will add the RE4 DLSS LOD bias comparison later to the Reddit post.

Thank you so much for all the effort. I have a question, I should apply those settings for LOD Bias on the ''_GLOBAL_DRIVER_PROFILE (Base Profile)'' right?

Yeah about DLSS performance and ultra performance, that's much lower internal resolution, higher negative lod bias will definitely help a lot, but I mainly use DLAA and DLSS quality modes in 4k, and don't want to switch lod bias frequently between the native resolution and DLSS quality, so I keep it at default setting.
