DLSS&DLAA mods Comparison
I made a quick comparison and sorry if I forgot to include XeSS.

Also, credit goes to PatatoOfDoom and RazzerBrazzer for debugging and finding out that Capcom did not enable DLSS and XeSS for the demo. Maybe it could be in the final game but we'll have to wait and see.

Some beauty shots I did with DLAA @ 1440p at the maximum settings (DLSS.dll used was version 2.5.10), it looks fantastic but does cause some UI errors with a flicker and some ghosting on HUD and menu elements along with some shimmering on the blurred screen when paused and there is a issue with the volumetric fog/lighting? during the bell ring cutscene but it looks absolutely awesome I wished DLAA was supported along with DLSS. https://ibb.co/album/xmdtZ9

Does this meant we will have dlss on launch?

How did you get DLDSR to work? I can't go above native resolution in the settings :rshocked:

Yeah same here. I can play RE Village with it and it's so much better.

Set your desktop resolution to the DLDSR resolution.
20K Mad Chainsaw run 4K ultrawide (4587x1920) with DLSSQ.

Ok, that's what I thought. No option to do it in-game. Not relevant then.

In RE2 DLAA is amazing compared to native TAA.

FSR2 always sucks. Pixellated after very short distance and trash performance gains. DLSS rocks.
SK-HYJINX Mar 13, 2023 @ 6:28am
Also.... Turning OFF the Hair Strands gets a HUGE HUGE HUGE gain to Nvidia GPU's.
High to Low is a Nice increase, Low to Classic is another Huge Step.

Up to you of course... if you have headroom leave it on, if wanting more, turn it down.

The temporalupscaling mod is rendering everything on the screen. It's not in the correct pipeline like the official FSR1&2 where it leave the hud along. At least it looks nice lol

Maybe, it could be patch down the line after launch. We'll have to wait and see but at least it's in the code lol

Yeah it looks great. I do want to let you know if you encounter any mirror reflection in the game, it'll create some visual glitch like blurriness. Just turn off temporalupscaling for those part or cutscene until you pass those part and then turn it back on.

What profile do you modify in Nvidia Profile Inspector exactly? Cause there is no profile for the remake, only for the RE 4 Ultimate HD Edition.

Trying this out. I dont see the temporalupscaler option in reframework in game. I added the dinput8.dll from github and the 5.2.1 dlss.dll to the games folder under steam apps, common, re4 chainsaw demo

I made a guide for those who can't make it work. I tried it from scracth. The guide is in Spanish, but reads fine with Google Translate: https://www.pcmrace.com/2023/03/13/guia-para-usar-dlss-dlaa-en-resident-evil-4-demo-y-otros-titulos-de-capcom-con-re-engine/

As expected, DLSS worked so much better than FSR 2 for me. In Balanced Mode the game had a very decent boost in performance. Let's just hope Capcom officially put both XeSS and DLSS in the game. Giving us players more choice is always the best thing to do.
