Still haven't found a balance of quality and frame rate that I like.
4k maxed settings. Getting around 65 fps with fsr 2.0 balanced.
Crashes before entering first hours. No matter if native 4k or fsr.
Same happened with re2 remake after RT patch. Probably vram problem... but 3080 is a top of the line card from 2 years ago. This is a joke. I have more than 8gb of vram as texture setting suggests
Finally came to a similar set of settings after dozens of crashes. Defaults with 2GB vram, Balanced FSR2.0 at 4K. Getting 60-90fps depending on how small of an area is being rendered. I'm happy with this. I toyed with interlacing and resolution scaling. You can get more frames but it looks worse then FSR 2. Fine details like leaves becoming really unstable.
Recently saw another discussion about the D3D error and raytracing being a problem, I have that turned on to high and I haven't gotten a crash yet since I fixed the VRAM issue. But that looks like another bug to fix.
