It could only felt slower if you don't have 120HZ/VRR Enabled. So it doesn't sync your FPS/Refresh Rate with the Display.
Again, VRR saves the day, even if you use Fidelity + RayTracing. That 52-56 FPS Range on PS5 is not unplayable or horrible to look at. It looks smooth with VRR.
VRR can't save XSX on Fidelity and RayTracing however. Because it drops almost 20 FPS from 60.
Also Day 1 Patch could fix a lot of things, Both Steam and Consoles. Callisto did it, not day 1 however and had a terrible launch, now it's so much better. (Not that the game is superb or anything).
Just Sharing Information on the Demo Status, to let you know on what platform you want to buy, and that a low-end PC can handle MAX settings capped at 30 FPS without dips.
Hair Strands are bugged on Consoles at the moment. They don't properly reflect light, and i can't seem to notice any FPS differences.
Xbox Might get a Boost with a Patch, no reason to be +10 FPS lower on Fidelity Mode.
Also Rain is getting fixed in Day 1 patch too.
HDR is also in line with other REngine games. HDR was never meant to produce pure blacks but rather better atmosphere, many people complained on it at REmake2 thinking it was broken, however it was exactly the same as RE7 and REVillage.
Also Capcom uses Denuvo + Their own DRM + Steam for PC. So that could be a problem for some users getting higher Frames.
We have come a long way since GTA3 "Motion Blur"
But if that fixes it for you, along with other options that give the game a grimey camera look, you can just disable them. Widescreen is great.
When i was talking about VRR, i was talking about a HDTV capable of outputting 120HZ/VRR. So yeah, if you don't have one, it might feel choppy on Framerate Mode, as it doesn't sync FPS to HZ.
Anyway, if your PC can handle +60 FPS on the game, i think it's a valid choice then.
That's good. If you have less resolution, and the pixel density is decent. 60 FPS is good and more than enough. The way FPS works is, the less you have, the more you notice, the more you have, the less you notice. You would notice 70-80 FPS from 60 without a single problem with your eyes. It's SO much smoother. However you would notice a lot more if the game drops frames from 60 to 55-50 or less.
But for example when you hit 100-120 FPS, going above isn't that noticable.
I play games at 240FPS on my 240HZ G-Sync Monitor. But those are mostly Indie games, or Old Games Patched, or Doom WADs, or new Retro Shooters, etc.
So games that don't require that much power.
Plus the GPU is an upgrade here.
I also get 60 FPS at some scenes, but most drop to around 45.
Usually if i can't get a stable 60, i settle for 30 (At least in the old days) and just put everything to maximum. But i will be playing the game on PS5 as i pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition there.
You have a Laptop Build. That CPU is from the 2017, same with the the Integrated GPU.
What i am trying to say is, your CPU houses your GPU. There is no way you can play this.
Maybe some super light indie games and such? Yeah, probably. But not this. Even i am struggling with my PC, and this one can run pretty much any AAA game from 2017-2020.
Hell, even RE Village without a problem. But REmake4 is different.
