weird shadow blocking on leon's hair
im using the high hair strands setting and the rest of the settings in the game is maxed out and there is these weird shadows on his hair but when i aim it goes away anyone else having this ?

Yeah you have to turn off hair strands Or make the resolution 200% Making the fov a little bit closer will help too but Nobody wants to do that

oh thank god it's not just me i was like have my gpu been damaged somehow i hope they fix it for launch atleast it seems like there is some problems with that hair stuff like the shading is all wrong compared to having it set to off and it also seems alot more stiff compared to off and it's way to bright when there is alot of light

Yeah don't worry not your system I'm getting it too and I'm on a new computer that's a month old Happens on both my computer's All we can do is hope it gets fixed

okay so im not even gonna use it there is so many things wrong with it there is no contact shadows when using hair strands setting so shadows from the hair aswell as less hair physics and not the same level of shading as the off setting and the shadow artifacting aswell it does seem to be notably reduced tho if setting the resolution scaling to 140% but if you do that with hair strands set to off and 140% it's pretty much the same hair sharpness and density but with better performance and more hair physics so yea not worth it at all !
