Don't get your hopes up. Demo has only button mapping. The work is already done and they didn't add the haptics and adaptive triggers to PC.
Massive L for Capcom as I love this controller and even indie studios like Asobo add full support with A Plague Tale: Requiem.

no pc game has that if its not by playstation

Literally EVERY game that has had DualSense features on PS5 has also supported them on PC, with exceptions of Deadspace remake, Hogwarts legacy, and now this. No one knows why they aren’t supported though.

Dualsense works flawlessly with Hogwarts Legacy.

Did they patch it in? Last I checked Hogwarts legacy didn’t even have basic rumble on the ps5 controller. There was one guy in a discussion saying it had DualSense support but it was swiftly debunked by everyone in the discussion.

It seems to have more detailed rumble when you have the Steam input on. also the L2 trigger seems to have a bit more resistance. Turning the Steam input off will get you none of the features
If the game supports the dualsense with all the features nativaly, you don't have to do anything on Steam. The Steam options are there for games that don't have fully native support for controllers. A game like Spider-Man, for example, it's plug and play no matter what.
Not sure about this game, but generally:
you will still need to disable the Playstation Controller Support of Steam Input if you have it enabled (which most people have because most games need it on to work with a Dualsense controller). The Dualsense specific features can't work in any game if you have Steam Input enabled and didn't disable it for the wanted game. That's also the case for Spiderman.

That's not entirely true. Most games, yes. But if you compare the list on pcgamingwiki for pc support and and lists found on beebom or androidcentral for PS5.
NBA 2K21, Resident Evil 7 and Village, The Callisto Protocol, Stray, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands just to name a few.

You may need to update your firmware for dualsense. It's there.

This is purely misinformation - pc games DO support adaptive triggers and haptic feedback, or the lightbar or even the speaker. Not all of them do, but some notable examples are: Marvel's Spider Man, Modern Warfare 2, Black Ops Cold War, Metro Exodus and so on.
If the game wasn't on playstation you wont get full features
Yes, you often do, at least on a wired connection. Returnal, F1 22, GhostWire: Tokyo, Deathloop, AC Valhalla, all Call of Dutys since MW all have the same Dualsense support on pc as it has on PS5.

It never was the native dualsense haptics, but basic ds4 emulation rumble (which is more detailed than the xbox rumble and closer to the dualsense haptics) can be achieved by using steaminput with playstation controller configuration since day 1. You will know it's active when hovering over the main menu will give you a slight rumble. But it didn't activate reliably on the first start of the game, i usually had to start the game 2 times in a row in order to have it activated.
Still, nothing compared to the native support on ps5, if only the graphics weren't so much worse compared to the pc version :>

I would guess because Capcom is lazy and they are terrible with PC ports, despite claiming they are now a "PC gaming company first". Bunch of Bologna to me.
