How to unlock Mad Chainsaw mode
Start the game from "New game" and you should get the prompt eventually. It's RNG.

It's essentially hard mode and I think it also increases enemies.

Wasn't there something in the Re7 demo that gave you an item for use in the full game? Wonder if you get something from beating Mad Chainsaw mode
