That exact scene? No, but just go watch the original games opening up till the village, it has just as many cutscenes and the game outright stops more than once to have the very uncinematic Hunnigan interactions.

8:25 for the window
Sure, I know how the opening goes, but I'm not sure what you are really complaining about. It has cutscenes just like the original in mostly the same spots, and I would say it handles things better, like the Hunnigan interaction is a proper scene instead of a stationary communication thing.
You're welcome to not like it and move on, make your voice heard as you have but "no one wants this"? Trailer 3 had me gushing how they haven't ripped out some of the iconic set pieces and instead kept them in their entirety or had a new spin on them. It set some expectations and showed RE4:R will feel familiar but new at the same time - not quite sure why you were expecting this to be drastically different when RE4 is so highly regarded.
But hey, if you don't want in on the gravy train, have fun like the rest of us cause despite how you feel, it's still coming out anyway and want to see a spin on a classic (come on, it's not a 0/10, there's something to enjoy here even if you wait for a sale), ol' faithful is still relevant with the HD project :)
Either or, glad you were able to try the demo to see how you feel!
The only bad thing about the Original game and the followup is how the character moves as a tank. I really prefer this new way of playing it.
I died seven times already, and I love it.
Sounds like you are buying the game for the wrong reasons
Eh, again, the first game had just as many cutscenes, and I think this game could be better than the original because they might be cutting down on the Hunnigan calls. I have some nostalgic memories of those interactions for sure, but going back to look, they just outright stop the game entirely three times before you get to the village just to talk to Hunnigan, so if they are going to have less of those, or integrate them into more active cutscenes like they did in the demo, I think that's a plus for the game.
I concur. Mr. Coomer over there should probably consider 'other' games.
