Demo keeps crashing for me moments after starting the game
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\RESIDENT EVIL 4 BIOHAZARD RE4 Chainsaw Demo\re4demo.exe Fatal D3D error (25)"

EDIT: I think I found a temporary solution. If you exceed your VRAM usage in the graphics options menu, the games seems to crash almost immediately. This is odd because I've never had this issue with any of the previous Resident Evil games.

you don't need to turn off ray tracing, just don't let you VRAM get to RED STAGE,let the VRAM using in yellow stage, this bug is the same from resident evil 2 and 3 remake RAY TRACING VERSION

you can use ray tracing, just keep your VRAM in yellow stage, red stage just crash the game, the same error from re2 and re3 remake, i don't know why capcom didin't fix this, 'cuz re8 don't have this problem.. i can use re8 village in red stage VRAM

RTX 3080, crashes after a few minutes. The only fix is downgrading textures and Ray tracing off. It never happened to me with re2 remake, re3 remake or village (4k, ultra and ray tracing). Hope capcom fix it
no, re 3 remake and re 2 remake have the same problem when you use VRAM IN RED STAGE, i know this, just keep your VRAM in yellow stage, you can use RAY TRACING yet

No issues what so ever. Smooth sailing.

Probably a display driver issue. Use DDU and install again. If on NVIDIA do not use 531.18. Terrible and filled with bugs. Use driver before and not the hotfix either.

i9-9900K
RTX 3080
32GB DDR4
1TB NVMe
Win 10 Pro

Only gripe is the controls are wrong as well as button prompts with XSX controller. Even after selecting control type.

R7 5800X

Seems to be an issue with the game.
I was well off the VRAM limit.
don't use VRAM limite before yellow stage, even you have 6gb vram(i have a rtx 2060) you can not use full limt, don't use the vram in red stage, keep in yellow stage and will fix the problem, i hope capcom fix this, 'cuz this bug is the same from RE 2 RE 3 remake RT version

TURN OFF RayTracing. It worked for me.

I have a 2080 Super 8 GB and my settings exceeds to 11 GB and I can still the game at ~105/120 FPS, but with RT ON crashes.

EDIT:
Ryzen 7 5800x
2080 Super 8 GB
32 GB Ram
you can use ray tracing man, but don't use vram in RED STAGE limite, use vram in yellow stage, you can just change textures if you want to use ray tracing

Same here. In my case (RTX 2080 Super), setting the texture quality to High (1 GB) instead of 2GB fixed the problem. Not sure if there's an impact in visual quality.
the problem is, you can't use the VRAM limit in red stage, keep in yellow stage,

to fix this is just to keep your vram IN YELLOW STAGE, red stage will crash, don't matter if you using 5,0gb vram / 5,30 vram ,just keep in yellow stage, change textures if you want to use ray tracing, or just turn off ray tracing and use high textures

I only got that crash once. Now I just keep crashing just after getting to the main village section. I can't even complete the demo because it becomes literally unplayable due to this. I'm not happy at all. Very upset about it, actually. Brand ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ new PC that just arrived today too. All drivers updated and up to date on all windows updates too.

I don't even have my VRAM in the red stage. It's in the white, actually. No raytracing enabled either. The crashes I'm getting now aren't the D3D ones. I don't know why it's crashing. All I get are Capcom crash reports that I don't understand what's listed in them.
