Demo keeps crashing for me moments after starting the game

EDIT: I think I found a temporary solution. If you exceed your VRAM usage in the graphics options menu, the games seems to crash almost immediately. This is odd because I've never had this issue with any of the previous Resident Evil games.

Doing the same thing for me. Pc specs are Ryzen 9 5900x, 48gb ram and Rtx 2080 Super.
