Capcoms garbage DRM that in adition to Denuvo was causing massive stuttering in RE Village everytime you kill an enemy or got grabbed by the sisters.

They fixed it 3 months after release. Hopefully they don't repeat the same mistake here.

Oh, weird, it's in the About section, no wonder I missed it. Well, it's cool that the demo doesn't have Denuvo, at least. Whatever this Enigma thing is, it doesn't seem to lock anything to a server.

Performance isn't the problem with Denuvo, a Denuvo game being a server-dependent glorified rental is the problem.

Any idea where this "Enigma Protector" came from? I googled all that i could, one corp called "Enigma Software" were the guys who made the bizarre "Spyhunter" anti-malware. Honestly I would hope this software is either just Capcom's in-house denuvo extension, or it was made by something somewhat legit. or even that weird spyhunter company.

Because some of the other possibilities I googled I hear is legit malware!

I don't mind Denuvo so much.. would be nice if companies didn't bother, but its just a minor inconvenience imo. Still beats dealing with even more launchers and their accounts/passwords. or worse... the Epic games store! or that Denuvo anti-cheat malware that got rightfully removed shortly after in Doom Eternal.

I'd take Uplay/Ubisoft Connect over EGS. I can tell ya that much!


I could use some info because I can't find any rn. Maybe Capcom can pin a FAQ or add to theirs or something? Legit got computer safety concerns because I'm out of the loop. I'd like to try out the demo. lol

Maybe the full game will contain their fusion named.... Enigma Denuvo Protector?
