And she actually looks her age (20) instead of like ~16. Which will make that line at the end of the original far less weird (assuming they keep it).

Also noticed from the last bits of gameplay footage we have seen, she seems smarter. Like Leon told her to "give me some space" at one part and Ashley runs, before he fired a mine or some other explosive,

Yeah I just like that she doesn't look like a living doll in the new one, the OG Ashley's bugged out eyes are strange, though probably just an artifact of the times with character design and such
