It'll be a cold day in hell when I pay that much for a game. I usually keep these games on wishlist to monitor price drops, but Sony and Capcom like companies refuse to lower their prices anymore thanks to no pressure from Steam/Valve to maintain regional pricing at all.
Anyway, time to put Capcom on ignore on Steam like I did with Sony and EA. They'll make billions from first world anyway, oh well.
From what I heard, regional pricing in India has been affected cause of Australians using VPN's to buy games for cheap in India.
I'm guessing it happened in every other country where games were cheap, first worlders abusing the system to get games for cheap.
Oh well, I guess "preventing piracy" drama from Steam was going to last only so long. I seriously doubt it that people in poor countries aren't going to go back to it now.
Personally, I've just been blocking AAA studios on Steam, even though Steam keeps showing their games despite ignore on FP. F**k them. I'll stick with buying Indie games since I am not sitting on a horde of gold.
VPNs don't support India right now because of the policy of Indian government. Otherwise I wouldn't be bragging here. You know what I mean lol :)
What country are you from? I come from one of the poorest countries in the world and we have to pay the full price :(
Two of the biggest criticisms I was made aware of a few years ago were that it hogs your CPU time, and that some earlier games that use it were no longer functional on newer hardware without a patch, provided there was a patch.
and most games will patch out denuvo because it cost money to keep renewing the license. maybe you are confusing denuvo with securom.
