Beautiful set. Nice little puzzles.

A fun little puzzle game with a incredibly unique aesthetic. You can complete the game in about 5 hours so keep that in mind.

Lumino City is a short point & click puzzle game with a unique paper cardboard style done similarly to claymation.
The story picks off right after the end of Lume, though it is not particualrly necessary to play Lume before jumping into this game. As Lume is very short and the story itself can barely even be called that, realistically it could've even been inserted into Lumino City and made into a small introduction section at the start of the game.

The art style is unique having a realistic look while using paper and cardboard, it has also been improved to be smoother and just looks absolutely gorgeous.

Gameplay
Everything has definitely been improved when compared to Lume, from the graphics, puzzles, and even the story has been expanded upon. The game is very easy to get into as it uses the classic point & click system, there are a plethora of puzzles as the game focuses on puzzle solving. They range in difficulty but none of them should be overly challenging to solve, they all have some form of logic behind them so take the time to understand and explore to solve them.

The visuals and sound are all so pleasant, and solving the puzzles is fun and satisfying. However, there were times that I couldn't for the life of me figure out what page of the handbook to go to, and in those cases, I couldn't solve the puzzles without a walkthrough online. With the handbook, the puzzles are a good mix of hard and fun and doable.

Good game, and a good piece of art as well. Could've done with more hints, especially as the game goes on to later puzzles. Also the morse code mechanics were very frustrating to interact with and I could see some people literally being unable to complete the game due to real-life physical inability to operate the signaling correctly. It's cool, but an accessibility option or a skip really could've been added here.
Music was surprisingly enjoyable and much better than I expected.

Great experience, mediocre game. I highly recommend playing it, though. its gameplay takes a backseat to the vibes. Which is fine! The vibes are here in droves.

Great art, music and environment but lackluster puzzles. A few of them devolve into just trying many different things. It's made worse by a poor UI. Has the animation ended yet? Can I click now? Sometimes something I've clicked won't activate but when I click the exact same thing a few seconds later, Lumi proceeds towards it.

There is lack of feedback in the UI and hotspots are not correct as well. Sometimes clicking on something activates a hotspot next to it. And then an animation starts that takes a while and you feel like you're fighting the game.

Pity, since it's very charming otherwise. I only wish it wasn't so frustrating to play.

The puzzles seem like they could be good, but there's too much "find the pixel" clicking, and the puzzles often don't explain what you're supposed to figure out to solve them. The book of solutions then gives solutions directly, instead of giving hints.
