Lumino City

Will there be a Linux version?
I remember reading this article last year where it said that Lumino City would be available for Linux:

Lumino City should release in "late Spring" this year, on PC, Mac and Linux (with iOS versions coming later, presumably once they've squished the sets with a hammer so they can fit on the smaller screens).

Though it's the only time I've seen it mentioned and now it's only listed as Windows/Mac, so I wonder if Linux is still something that's planned but will happen at a later time?

Hello.
A Linux version is planned.
Sorry for the delay, but it isn't going to be ready for this launch date.
I will let you know when I know more.

Thanks for the confirmation. :)

Out of curiosity, which engine is used for the game?

By the way, the developer confirmed on Twitter that it's still Flash for Lumino City.

That is a bit of a shame but still looks like a cool unique game :) Plus that is what the dev knows, will be hard for them to switch to a new language/engine

That's true. Terry Cavanagh, creator of VVVVVV and Super Hexagon, recently started using Haxe though, and judging by his tweets on the matter, it seems like he found the switch from ActionScript to Haxe relatively easy. They're supposedly pretty similar, but the latter has the obvious advantage of supporting more platforms.
