Morse Code problems
I can't make it through the Morse Code puzzle in the lightmill. I can send an "R" just fine, but when I try to send an "O" it reads the first dash as a "T" instead of waiting for the next two dashes.

Please help me get past this puzzle; it's driving me crazy.

Thanks!

I'm having the same problem. Anyone know how to get through this issue?

I meant to post this earlier, but if you email the developers directly from their website, they'll help you past it.

Worked fine here. Maybe it was misreading your inputs, but do you mean it did that even when you didn't touch the controls?

Yeah. It was inputting letters even when I wasn't touching the controls. I beat that part of the game finally, but it was from pure dumb luck. It took me about two hours of trying to finally complete it.

That part was really annoying. But with some fiddeling it is possible to work around that bug by rapidly changing the signal at specific points.

That's what I basically did. But it was very tedious. Didn't work majority of the time.

Same problem. Could anyone detail a solution?

Hi,

Sorry for the problems with this one on some systems, as we work on a solution here's a workaround. Hope it hasn't spoiled your enjoyment too much.

> Right-click on “Lumino City” in your Steam library
> Select “Properties”
> On the “General” tab of properties, click “Set launch options”
> Type in “skip1=13” (Without quotes)
> This will skip profile number 1 to chapter thirteen (The chapter after the morse code puzzle). If you are using a different profile, change the first digit accordingly. Eg, to skip profile 2 to chapter 10, enter: skip2=10

At the start of every tone, both levers must be up. To make a long, pull down the right lever mid-tone, then put it back up before the start of the next tone (when the light is covered). When finished with a letter pull down the left lever.

Dear State of Play,

I really enjoy this game, but after over a year from your last update on this issue, this still does not seem to be fixed.

When should we expect an update?

Thanks

This game is amazing and this is a game breaking bug. Please fix it! Thanks. :)

Bless you. It still glitched out sometimes, printing Es and Ts even when following these steps, but I managed to get it in a few tries.
Whilst I've mostly enjoyed how the game doesn't label clearly the buttons of the mechanisms and just expects you to figure out for yourself what they do, in the case of the morse code controls it was just too many variables, it seemed random and got pretty frustrating.

It is March 2020 and the bug is still there. I can't get past it.

Of course it's still there, it hasn't been updated since before this thread, and it never will be. Follow the developer's instructions to skip the bug.
