Call of Juarez - Stuck at first time setup
Hi everyone! I'm having an issue starting up CoJ. When I try to launch, I get the popup about performing first time setup. It reports installing DirectX June 2010. Then it just disappears. The game in the game list briefly flashes "syncing", then nothing. This happens every time I try to start it and select "Yes" on UAC. When I select "No" on UAC, nothing happens at all.

I've rebooted, reinstalled CoJ, run as admin, checked file integrity and even manually installed the DirectX June 2010 redistributable. Not sure what else I can do.

Delete installscript.vdf?

No problem! Any response is welcome. I ended up downgrading from Windows 10 (which didn't fix it) then tried to delete installscript, but that didn't work either. Finally, just like a fluke, I deleted the entire game folder and re-downloaded it and it worked.

I appreciate your suggestion!
