Sawed-Off Rifle or Golden Rifle?
I just got to the swamps and found the Sawed-Off Rifle for the first time. Is it any better than the original rifle?

As the theroy goes a short barreled rifle has a few advantages, with a shorter barrel you can pan from side to side in close quarters easier, easier to stow but they have a lower mussle velosity due to the barrel being shorter. A shorter barrel releses the bullet before the powder has a chance to completely burn, therefor less push on the bullet. Also the rifle with the short barrel will be really loud with a large mussle flash, giving away your location. hope this helps

The Sawed Rifle holds less rounds but fires faster

I never found anything better than the original rifle. The game kept wanting me to use pistols and they were useful long range in a few situations but for the majority of the game I stayed with the original rifle.
