bad performance
4 gigs gpu and 16 gigs of ram this game should run flawless but it stutters and runs bad

i don't think this game is optimized for today's drivers , game is like 5 years old....it needs an update

same. so is there no way to fix this outside of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with the BIOS settings?

So what's the fix for the cores? Trying to run on a Ryzen 1700 and GTX 1050 and it's unplayable. Do I also need to do some kind of v sync fix?

DUDE THE FIRST THING IS VIDEOGPU You Need, at least, 3 gigs power card or you'll get problems everywhere.

Its because you have an ancient card
geforce GTX 1060/1080 4Ghz/6Ghz are my cards. both made in 2017. On those cards supported by INTEL 7th Generation singleQuaD 4.2GHZ works 4 all COJ... but i run 60 fps...
Ah last update: I HEARD THE TROUBLE IT'S FROM MULTICORES SISTEMS, no matter which!
Infact i run on SINGLEQUADCORE and i always ran PERFECT! No lagging, no crash, no freezes noone of all badb thinghs! Is that the solution?:steamsalty:

runs great if you park 4 cores if your running a I7 = disable hyper threading .. down side is you have to do it every time you run the game ..
thanks for this
I'm running a 1080 ti and a i7 6700k and i was getting crazy hitching and stuttering on any resolution and refresh rate
your solution did the trick, thanks allot :)
I have the same problem. But I only have a i5 6600, so no hyperthreading to disable.

Nevermind. This got nothing to do with hyperthreading. If I turn off 2 of my 4 cores, it also improves a lot.

If devs updated games well after five years from launch they would never make a living.

You can just assign only one CPU core to the game's .exe in the task manager. Should solve the stuttering

I played gunslinger recently and noticed it was running at 60fps but still a bit stuttery and not as smooth as i rememeber from when i played it years ago. But i fixed it

At the bottom of this guide how to enable ambient occlusion i also show the guy how to enable vsync through gedosato tool as well. Trust me use this fix and BAM gunslinger turns into buttery smooth 60fps like magic

Im using i7 6700k+ gtx1080 + 16gb ddr4@3000mhz

I fixed it by simply turning off fullscreen. Now all cores running, with Vsync and constant 160fps no problem.

nice. this fixes a lot of games because it forces the game to use windows refresh rate system, as well as its colors system, (32 bit guaranteed), and gamma system as well. And proabably some other things
