Final boss doors reset after exiting the game?

I beat 3/4 final bosses and exited the game. When I came back the two doors I unlocked were locked again. Do I need to beat all of them in one sitting? Or is there a fix?

Should have gone through final door. It would have taken you to boss and you could have exited then.

Actually I thought progress there is saved. I think the problem was you "exited game" instead of "exit map," which would have saved your progress. There is no auto-save when you exit the game, which sucks.

the problem is u left game before reaching checkpoint, last ur checkpoint was frozen king and u had unlocked way to the castle, at dis point u have to finish game by beating wizard to make game save ur progress. There r tons of guides about dis matter, google or something. Overally its best to finish playing after u see game stats (100% chance dat game saves) and yes, game saves only when u exit level to the world map.
