How do I start Insane Mode?

I've beaten the game on the PS3, I would like to know how to start insane mode. Does anyone know how? If you think I'm an idiot, tell me, and still tell me how I start insane mode.

When you have beaten the Final Boss with a Character just go to the world map and there should be new way at the beginning of the map(like second or third level).There also is the Insane Store.
Note:You have to play the character who has beaten the final boss.

I've beaten the game as the Pink Knight, but when I play as that knight, I don't see the Insane Store. I know I've beaten it because I see the skull when I select the Pink Knight.

if you beaten the game and theres no insane mode probaly re-check if you missed out for any missions

No you dont need to they are just for unlocking extra characters I think.

And when you are picking your character there will be a skull meaning that you have unlocked insane mode.
