Linux Support?

As a Linux user and proud supporter of Steam for Linux, does Castle Crashers plan on porting to Steam for Linux? If Castle Crashers is C# or XNA/C#, take a look at MonoDevelop and MonoGame.

I'd hope a version is coming soon. they have a mac version, so im not sure why a linux version is not avaliable. they both use the same technologies, like open GL, and both run on the same kernel......

Although the whole "same kernel" part is invalid, I've done some looking and it really does seem like castle crashers is programmed using something along the lines of C#, meaning porting to Linux would be incredibly easy.

dont they both run off of the unix kernel? or am i missing something?

Mac OS X is a genuine UNIX kernel, derived from BSD. Linux was developed independently of UNIX - it was instead intended to be a free (as in freedom) kernel for the GNU Operating System, a Unix-Like system.

I love this game, however I will NOT purchase Castle Crashers until a LINUX port is available.

+1 as well! Aye, if Monogame was in fact used to port it to Mac, one would think as long as they didn't do anything too creative, it shouldn't be a massive amount of work to port it over to Linux as well.
