i know people hate these discussions, but is it worth it?

I bought the game yesterday. Heres the recommendation I have written for this game for friends. It basically describes why this is the last game you would want to waste your money on:

"This game is complete ♥♥♥♥. Its unplayable as it gives all instructions in A.B,X,Y format that in no way corresponds to butttons on a keyboard. They keyboard mappings do nothing to help this situation since they don't mention A, B, X or Y either. I think its fairly safe to say someone has opened their old VS project and just hit 'build for x86' without actually changing anything. Complete laziness."

In fact, I would go further to say its probably the worst port of a game since Pac Man for the Atari.

The keys are pretty basic man you have a jump button, attack and heavy attack as well as use item. There is a key you can hold to change your jump, heavy attack & use item keys into magic attacks and that's about it. There is a combo attack,attack,heavy attack,heavy attack and that's about all there is to the controls, saying that it is a terrible port because you can't figure out the most basic controls is a terrible review and not at all indicative of the quality of the game. Aside from the 360 button images and not being able to easily play local co-op with keyboard & 360 pad without some workaround the port is fantastic.

Yeah, I keep trying to give it a shot, but then it confronts me with another "press X to continue" style moments. It could say "heavy hit" or have a dictionary for "X = Heavy Hit", but it doesn't. I don't understand how you could make a game with such a fundamental flaw.

Its the same thing lol. Just connect your xbox controller with an adapter like i do. I play on both xbox and steam and its exactly the same. Execpt on steam u dont have to buy a whole nother game to get the alien hominid character
